Scope of work

Wealthcraft Partners performed pavement preservation for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lock and Dam sites LD2 and LD3, in Hastings and Welch, Minnesota. The sites sit on the river, where weather, water, and steady traffic all work against untreated asphalt.

The crew crack-filled and sealcoated about 1.5 miles of roadway, then carried the same treatment through the parking lots and drive aisles that serve both sites. Cracks were cleaned and filled before the seal went down, so water could not work into the pavement. A uniform sealcoat then protected the surface against freeze-thaw and heavy use.

Traffic control was part of the contract. Barrels, caution tape, and a managed work zone kept people clear of fresh material while the distributor and spray crew moved section by section. The result is a continuous protected surface, held only long enough to cure, then opened back to traffic along the river corridor.
